During IDLS 2008, YTEK and DSTO will support advanced interoperability demonstrations by the Defence Tactical Information Exchange Integration Office (TIEIO).
Using the Air Defence Ground Environment Simulation Suite (ADGESIM), DSTO and YTEK will stimulate C4I and datalink systems from SAAB Defence, Northrup Grumman, and Raytheon Solipsys (through Daronmont Technologies).
The TIEIO demonstrations are designed to showcase the potential of integrated C4I network environments for the support of National security operations between Defence and Commonwealth and State agencies.
Key to the demonstrations is an integrated simulation environment comprising the ADGESIM Scenario Manager, Pilot Interface, Worldview, and SensorLink.
These applications are used to stimulate tracking and command systems with sensor data that is then processed and shared as track files over datalink transport layers representing real world networks.
